FAQ

Before we get to work.

The practical details: what the tools do, how project accounts work, and where your team stays in control.

What is ConstraLabs?

ConstraLabs is AI software for construction teams in British Columbia. It reads invoices and documents, detects issues in site photos, and levels subcontractor bids, so your team reviews and approves instead of retyping.

Which construction teams is it for?

General contractors and developers in Vancouver and Victoria who run several active projects at once.

What is the best AI invoice software for construction in BC?

ConstraAP is built for this: it extracts fields from invoices, statutory declarations, WorkSafeBC clearance letters and liability insurance certificates, matches them to the project and vendor, and queues them for review. It fits teams that run several projects. Check it against your own document volume in a demo.

What is a project account?

A project account is an independent workspace for one project. One construction group can run several project accounts.

How much does it cost?

CAD 899 per month per independent project account. The current price includes about 40% discount. Custom development is quoted separately.

What documents does ConstraAP handle?

Invoices, statutory declarations, WorkSafeBC clearance letters and liability insurance certificates.

What can Punch List detect?

Cracks, drywall damage, electrical issues and missing covers in site photos. Manual items can be added to the same issue report.

How does ConstraBid compare bids with different wording?

AI scope matching reads each bid's wording and links it to the same scope line. Bids for the same work sit in the same row, and gaps are flagged.

Does the AI make decisions?

No. AI checks, matches and aligns. Your team approves, and ConstraBid does not pick the winner.

How do we connect existing tools?

Through MCP and APIs. Nimbus, in development, will bring these links together as one AI companion.

How fast is onboarding?

Most teams are running on their own within a week: demo and scope, account set-up, first real documents, adjustments, then your team approves on its own.

Who built it and where?

Sam Asgari (Co-founder and Software Engineer) and Nami Abrand (Co-founder and Construction Expert), in British Columbia.
